Welcome to the Brown Lab.

This is the webpage for Dr. Carolyn Brown’s research lab at the University of British Columbia.

Dr. Brown is a Professor in the Department of Medical Genetics, and our lab is located in the Life Sciences Institute.  Our research focuses on epigenetics and on functional long non-coding RNAs.  The model system that we study is the process of X-chromosome inactivation in humans.  Follow the Research Link to learn more.
